The WeighI VEL Vehicle Extraction Lift has been specifically designed for
urgent care facilities that routinely need to transfer non-ambulatory or
unconscious patients from a vehicle to a stretcher or wheelchair and patient
bed. Limited space and awkward body mechanics make this kind of transfer
particularly difficult for nurses and carers. The Vehicle Extraction Lift is
portability; it can to be used to lift dependant patients from any floor in the
building with minimum risk of injury.
The powder coated mild steel constructed frame with high stress areas that
are reinforced uses a Hydraulic Cylinder (Option Linear Actuator). Integrated
weighing scale design allows caregiver to adjust position of display for easier
viewing. Simple, intuitive controls provide resident's weight in pounds or
kilograms.
